Accounting software solutions can help businesses in many ways. Aside from saving time, you can create and maintain financial records continuously and get financial reports anytime you wish. This will enable you to continuously monitor records and resolve financial issues early before they become big problems.

Local companies who are keen to adopt IT solutions (particularly accounting software solutions) can receive Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) support from the Singapore government. The maximum level of support will be up to 70%. SMEs can apply for PSG if they meet the qualifying conditions.

Companies can put in more than one PSG application depending on business needs. However, support can only be extended for one package per solution category per deployment location. A subsequent purchase of IT solutions must be deployed at a different location.

For supported solutions, the annual grant cap of each company is S$30,000 starting on 1 April and ending on 31 March the following year. Companies are encouraged to plan the use of PSG for their purchases because if a company has fully utilized the grant cap, it will not be eligible for further support within the validity period of the grant cap and may then apply for new solutions at the next period when the grant caps are refreshed.
